A 1/24 slot car is either made of extremely thin, light vacuum-formed polycarbonate plastic or hard plastic. The light-bodied ones can be further divided into ‘scale’ and ‘wing’ versions. The scale version bears close resemblance to the original counterpart. On the other hand, wing cars have a purely aerodynamic body and look much less like an actual car.
