Losi 1/36 Scale Micro Desert Truck
Losi’s 1/36 scale micro trucks have taken the world by storm since being introduced in 2006. The Micro-Desert Truck, Losi’s newest micro release, tweaks and massages the Micro-T platform into a new and exciting vehicle.
Here are some of the exciting features and upgrades available with this powerful little machine:
The Losi Micro-Desert Truck (LOSB0233) offers big fun in a very tiny package. Hobbyists can fine-tune the Micro Desert Truck with a variety of original Losi performance parts or have a blast running it stock right out of the box. It is completely ready-to-run, deceptively maneuverable, and available in red, blue, or silver color.
Losi’s optional aluminum front bulkhead (LOSB1535) adds strength and rigidness to the front end of the truck that can help make it stronger than stock, which also includes more precise hinge pin holes. And if looks and style are important, the blue anodizing that graces this piece are gorgeous.
The Losi anodized aluminum rear hub carriers (LOSB1531) offer the same improvement in strength and rigidity to the rear of your truck as the front pivot block set adds to the front end. The aluminum hubs are perfect replicas of the stock hubs, but stronger, precision crafted, and allow for improved rear bearing alignment.
One of the easiest and inexpensive ways to improve the handling of the Micro-Desert Truck is to swap out the stock springs with Losi’s front (LOSB1600) and rear (LOSB1601) spring set. Each set includes three pairs of springs of different rates that are color coded for easy identification. And if you have a second Losi micro vehicle, these springs will fit all models 1/36 scale models.
The stock battery pack and charger work well and provide good speed and runtimes, but the LiPo Charger and Battery pack combo (LOSB0862) makes it easy to increase both your runtime and top speed. Once you purchase the battery and charger, you can simply purchase additional battery packs (LOSB0863) as needed.
Brushless motors provide improvements in both top-speed and runtime. The Xcelorin brushless system (LOSB9594) includes both a speed control and 8750Kv motor.
