OCC Meets E-flite: You Won’t Want to Miss This!
Motorcycle, helicopter and RC fans will enjoy this weeks airing of American Chopper. This week, the Orange County Choppers (OCC) team will begin building a themed bike for Silver State Helicopters. During the episode, E-flite’s own Blade CX2 will be prominently featured throughout the show.
During the assembly of the Silver State Helicopter custom chopper, Paul Jr. and Vinnie learn a few RC flight lessons from Godspeed and the Blade CX2.
The custom built chopper will be built over the course of two episodes. The first will air on TLC Thursday, August 30 at 9:00 pm, and again at 11:00 pm. The second show will air Thursday, September 6 at the same times.
Once the custom chopper is finished, it will be auctioned off with all proceeds donated to the Children’s Health Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix.
Godspeed: Flight Demonstration Team
Dennis, Ryan, and Doug travel the country teaching young and old the basics of RC flight. The team uses choreographed flying to high-energy music, using everything from small indoor electric aerobatic airplanes to the large outdoor turbo-powered fighter jets reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph. They also tell the compelling story of the Wright Brothers and their childhood dream of flying. By retelling this story Godspeed teaches children that they are all born with a unique talent. This inspirational message motivates children to always follow their dreams and to never give up.
