SCRC Summer RC Rock Crawling Competition Series Finally
Suburban Chicago Rock Crawlers held it’s fifth and final RC Rock Crawling competition of the Summer Series Saturday September 20th at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village Illinois.
RCSLOT sponsored driver Cedric Vann a.k.a. Ced RC finished in 1st Place for three of the 5 comps and clinched 1st Place overall for the Summer Series with a total score of 85 points, 54 points ahead of second place. Cedric also managed to finish in 2nd Place in one of the other 5 comps.
SCRC member Jason Kasper finished in 2nd Place for the Summer Series, and he even missed one comp! If Jason would have attended all five competitions he would have no doubt been much closer to clinching the 1st Place spot. Jason Kasper did manage to win 1st Place in Comp 3 of the series beating Cedric Vann by a narrow margin of 1 point!
SCRC Member Josh Raben finished the Series in 3rd Place with a total score of 167, only 28 points behind Jason Kasper. In Comp 4 of the series Josh narrowly missed First Place by 3 points, finishing in 2nd Place with a score of -4, just behind Cedric who finished with a score of -7.
