Upgrades to the already popular E-flite Blade CX2
BONUS: E-flite Blade CX2 Important Product Upgrades
E-flite continues thinking of ways to make the beginner helicopter experience even better. The newly upgraded Blade CX2 (EFLH1250) is equipped with additional accessories and features that further enhance it’s durability and performance.
The Blade CX2 now includes an aluminum head/hub, over-current protection PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuse devices, 3-in-1 control unit, and a Spektrum AR6100e receiver.
Inner Shaft with Aluminum Head/Hub (EFLH1240)
The blue-anodized aluminum upper rotor head and stabilizer flybar hub/holder installed on the model offers increased precision and superior durability.
Over-Current Protection Devices
The PTC resettable fuses offer over-current protection never before available in micro-class heli models. These PTC resettable fuses offer protection for the main motor electronic speed controls in over-current conditions.
3-in-1 Control Unit Mixer/Speed Control/Gyro System (EFLH1023)
The 3-in-1 Control Unit installed on the Blade CX2 is a lightweight combination of main motor mixer, main motor electronics speed controls, and a rate-mode piezo gyro. This 3-in-1 Control Unit functions just like the 4-in-1 Control Unit previously included with the Blade CX2 models, but it does not include a receiver.
The 3-in-1 unit also features unique software that allows the main motor mixer and rate-mode piezo gyro to be disabled. This, along with the separate Spektrum AR6100e receiver (SPMAR6100E), allows an optional heading lock-type gyro for yaw control.
Spektrum AR6100e 2.4GHz DSM2 Microlite Receiver (SPMAR6100E)
The Spektrum AR6100e receiver installed on the Blade CX2 weighs just 4.4 grams and is compatible with the included E-flite LP5DSM transmitter and other Spektrum DSM2 equipped transmitters and modules.
All Blade CX2’s received after August 30, 2007 will be the upgraded units.
