Overview

Novak's Crawler 18.5T Sintered Brushless Motor is the same motor included in Novak's #3019 Crawler Brushless System. It is ideal for crawling applications as well as drivers looking for slower speeds and longer run times. It is compatible with all Novak brushless speed controls, including the new #1720 XBR Sport Brushless/Brush ESC.

Novak is pleased to be one of the few, if not the only R/C manufacturer, who offers electronic products specifically designed for crawlers. Brushless technology is an ideal fit for crawling applications due to the instant throttle response, super low-speed drivability, and explosive torque brushless products provide. The #3419 sensor-based Crawler Brushless Motor enables crawlers to climb over, maneuver through, and conquer the most challenging terrain.

While the #3419 Crawler Brushless Motor looks nearly identical to the original #3418 Crawler Brushless Motor, there is one significant upgrade that greatly improves its performance: a sintered rotor. The new Crawler Brushless Motor now includes the same high-performance sintered rotor that Novak’s Velociti-series motors currently use. The rotor is ideal for use with any and all applications, and provides the following benefits:

The Crawler Brushless Motor still includes the same great features that have made it popular, including a larger, more rugged front bearing for extra durability and extended life (same bearing used in Novak’s Velociti-series motors). It still sports ribbed aluminum end bells, and the same popular solder tab system that is used in Novak’s Velociti-series motors. The lower-resistance solder tabs allow for more flexible soldering options, and are extremely efficient and easy to use. The solder tabs provide the lowest possible voltage drop, and allow for easy and convenient power wire replacement.

The Crawler Brushless Motor is available individually, or as a system (#3019) factory-wired to the new XBR-based Crawler ESC. It is also compatible with all Novak brushless ESCs, including the GTB-series (#1710, #1711, #1714, #1715), the XBR (#1720), the Super Sport Plus (#1705) and the original Super Sport ESC. The Crawler motor with any of these ESCs are an ideal setup for beginning drivers that are looking for slower speed and longer run times.
