Overview

The PowerBox Battery System, offering battery capacities of 1500 mAh, 2800 mAh and 4000 mAh, is yet another in-house development, designed specifically and exclusively for use as receiver and servo power supplies. They represent a pioneering approach to batteries for modeling applications. They were introduced in 2004, and remain the most modern system available. Sophsticated security electronics, controlled by an IC specially developed for the application and supported by an SMT temperature sensor, manage the entire charge process by monitoring the battery voltage, temperature and charge time. The monitor protects your valuable Lithium-Polymer battery.

To charge your valuable Lithium-Polymer cells safely and reliably all you need is our mains PSU or 12 V car adapter. A robust case protects your Lithium-polymer battery, in particular from external influences and mechanical stress in the model. Operational security is further enhanced by the use of the battery mounting frame, developed specifically for this application. Each PowerBox Battery (2800, 1500 or 4000) is supplied complete with mounting frame and fixings, and the frames are also available separately for use in other models.
