Parkflyer, Airplane, and Helicopter DSM Receivers
Spektrum DSM aircraft receivers lead the way in spread spectrum precision and reliability. The reason is Spektrum's patented DuaLink technology that ensures a rock-solid RF link in the most demanding flying conditions. Other features include short antennas that do not require any external exposure and built-in SmartSafe fail-safe protection so pilots can fly with complete confidence.
The SmartSafe Advantage All Spektrum receivers feature exclusive SmartSafe fail-safe protection that is ideal for all electric models, but beneficial to glow and gas powered models too. When a DSM receiver is turned on before the transmitter, SmartSafe drives all servos, except for the throttle channel, to positions that you established during the binding process - usually the neutral control surfaces and gear down. The throttle channel receives no input at all to avoid operating or arming electronic speed controls. Once the transmitter and receiver are connected and signal loss occurs, SmartSafe will only drive the throttle to a present position. All other channels will hold at the last command position.
AR6000 DSM 6 Channel Park Flyer Receiver The 7 gram AR6000 is a lightweight and affordable solution for parkflyers and mini heli's. Its slim profile and short antenna lengths give pilots all kinds of flexibility in how and where they mount it.
AR6100 DSM2 6 Channel Microlite Receiver At only 3.5 grams, the tiny AR6100 is the ultimate 2.4GHz receiver for most any small electric model from mini profile foamies up to 400 class helicopters. And because it utilizes DSM2 technology, it is compatible with the DX7 aircraft system as well as Spektrum's Aircraft Module Systems.
AR7000 DSM2 7 Channel Aircraft Receiver The AR7000 is a full-range receiver that can be used with any type and size of aircraft. It is made up of a main receiver connected by a 6 inch lead to a smaller remote receiver, the combination of which offers superior path diversity. The dual path redundancy of Spektrum's DuaLink technology, plus the fact that each of the two receivers is mounted in a slightly different location exposes each to a different RF environment and creates a bulletproof RF link in every flying condition.
AR9000 DSM2 9 Channel Aircraft Receiver The AR9000 is a full-range receiver just like the AR7000 above, including all the same great dual path features. In addition to Spektrum's exclusive SmartSafe technology, the AR9000 gives pilots the option of using standard preset fail-safe settings. Preset fail-safe mode is ideal for high-flying sailplanes and larger, faster aircraft that can cause serious damage if they lose signal. Like SmartSafe, preset fail-safe will drive control surfaces to preset positions and inhibit the throttle if the AR9000 is powered up before the transmitter. After the transmitter and receiver are connected, it will drive all channels to preset positions in the event of signal loss. This could help flap and spoiler deployment for sailplanes or slight left rudder and low throttle for powered planes.
Spektrum's optional Flight Log is compatible with the Spektrum AR9000 receiver. During a flight, it will log data about the overall RF link performance as well as individual data for the main and remote receivers that pilots can review after they land, to help make any fine-tuning adjustments necessary to enhance overall flight precision.
AR9100 DSM2 9 Channel Aircraft Receiver The AR9100 is designed for models using multiple servos that draw excess current or those with multiple high-torque servos such as giant-scale airplanes and jet models. It features a robust power bus designed to manage high current loads, as well as dual 16 AWG battery input leads with EC3 connectors for use with larger battery packs. This makes it possible to support high-current systems straight through the AR9100 without the need for a separate power system. As an added measure of safety, Spektrum designed the AR9100 with soft switch. Servo current is routed around the switch so should it fail for any reason, power to the system will no be interrupted.
The AR9100 PowerSafe receiver is a full-range system that can be used on any type and size of model aircraft. This unique receiver design contains a main unit which houses the power bus and includes three remote receivers of which come with one each: 9", 12", and 24" remote receiver extensions. The dual path redundancy of Spektrum's DuaLink technology, coupled with the fact that each of the receivers is mounted in a slightly different location exposes each to a different view of the RF environment and creates a that bulletproof Spektrum RF link in all conditions. Pilots can add an options fourth remote receiver to further enhance the receiving capabilities of the system for more complex aircraft.
In addition to Spektrum's exclusive SmartSafe technology, the AR9100 gives pilots the option of using standard user preset failsafe settings. it is also compatible with Spektrum's optional Flight Log that records data about the overall RF link performance for post-flight review, 2.4GHz noise in the environment, and voltages for better starting of each flight in the future.
