The ARTR was designed from the ground up, and every detail was thought through to provide a competition level base kit to work with. This new crawler features a true-to-scale Toyota Land Cruiser 40 body made from lightweight polycarbonate, mounted on an all-new CR-01 chassis~and is literally ready to rock!

CR-01 dedicated crawler chassis features heavy-duty ladder frame with strong yet lightweight pressed aluminum channels and resin cross members. The space saved by mounting a compact planetary gearbox enables the battery to be located lower on the chassis for optimum center of gravity.

Planetary gearbox comes with 20T pinion gear for a 40.5:1 gear ratio. Separately available 16T-25T pinion gears can be installed for gear ratios ranging from 50.6:1 to 32.4:1. Kit also includes 540 type motor while 2-channel R/C system, ESC, and 7.2V battery & charger are separately required.

4-link coil spring suspension provides the flexibility needed to conquer difficult rocky terrain. Inboard dampers are connected to suspension via linkages, which are then connected via stabilizer torsion bar to provide sure-footed balance.

Newly designed 3-piece beadlock wheels are mounted with massive rock crawler tires with125mm diameter and 56mm width. These work together with the suspension system to generate an impressive amount of ground clearance.

Proven XXX Transmission

Extra Long Chassis
The Team Losi Racing engineering and development team have refined and revised the overall balance of the XXX-T CR by extending the chassis an additional .200”. Titanium Nitride Hinge Pins

Additionally, the shock shafts are also TiNi coated for smooth, consistent handling and durability.

BEARINGS
Kit includes a total of 42pcs of bearings (35pcs x 1150, 4pcs x 1260, 2pcs x 850 size metal and 1pc of 1050 size ball bearings).
Metal bearings require periodic application of grease to maintain performance. Separately available ball bearings do not require this treatment, and are highly recommended.

MOTOR
This kit is designed to be used only with pre-supplied type 540 motor and pinion gear.

RADIO CONTROL UNIT TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLER (ESC), STEERING SERVO & SHIFT SERVO
Requires 4-channel, 2-servo digital proportional R/C unit with electronic speed controller with variable forward and reverse function. The Airtronics VG400/600 model radios are capable as they feature slide trim and self neutral control sticks. 2ch R/C unit cannot be used as it cannot shift gears.
PCM type receiver may not be used as it may cause radio interference when using with separately available Multi Function Unit.

ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLER
Use high power type ESC with reverse function (maximum continuous current: forward 120A, reverse 60A, FET regulation).
A high-spec ESC is especially recommended when running on rough terrain.
TEU-302BK Electronic Speed Controller (ITEM 45028) is recommended.
Not for use with TEU-101BK Electronic Speed Controller.

SERVO
While standard type steering servo is sufficient, high torque servo is recommended when running on rough terrain.
Use of ITEM 50473 High Torque Servo Saver White or ITEM 51000 High Torque Servo Saver Black will further improve efficacy.
Do not use small, large or high-speed servo.

BATTERIES
7.2V running battery
Eight R6/AA/UM3 batteries for transmitter.

Battery and Radio information
1. Any 7.2V battery can be used to power the vehicle. Different mAh batteries effect the amount of running time. For example, 7.2V 1400SP battery should normally enable 10 to 15 minutes of running time. However, please note that actual running time may decrease due to extended full throttle and other high power running.

2. A 4-channel R/C unit (self-neutral stick type transmitter/receiver) is recommended for optimum operation. The Airtronics VG400/600 model radios are capable as they feature slide trim and self neutral control sticks. Be aware that using an R/C unit without a self-neutral system may increase difficulty of operation. Without self-neutraling channels (spring loaded sticks) the operator is left to center the throttle and steering without the aid of self-centering springs, which makes driving the truck harder than it needs to be.

4-channel wheel-type transmitters can be used with ITEM 58372, but will not be able to be used with kit equipped with Multi-Function Unit (TAM53957).

Overview

The TXT-1 is designed like a full size monster truck with an aluminum ladder frame and multi-link suspension. Solid axles with a cantilever system allows for massive suspension articulation. This kit includes hardware and a second servo saver for four wheel steering. The servo (or servos) are located next to the axle for direct steering. Kit requires a 2 or 3 channel radio and can operate on a 7.2V or 8.4V battery.

Overview

Team Associated announces the new Factory Team RC10T4 Truck kit...the truck won the ROAR Off Road National Championship! Now you can get your own, full-option "Factory" ride truck complete with over $190 worth of Factory Team upgrades!

The Team's standard threaded, hard-anodized PTFE-coated shocks with Gold shafts handle the damping on all four corners. A complete set of 14 PTFE-sealed bearings are included to ensure smooth, efficient operation. Lightweight outdrives are included, as well as a new clear injection-molded gear cover. To get the power to the ground, the T4 Factory Team comes with Pro-Line "M3" "Holeshot" rear tires and "M3" compound "Edge" front tires on white Pro-Line dish wheels.

The T4 Factory Team features all molded carbon components including the chassis, front and rear shock towers, front and rear A-Arms, chassis brace, and top plate. The battery strap is made of woven carbon fiber, and comes with a chrome/black "AE Factory Team" sticker.

No Factory Team kit would be complete without a full array of "Factory Blue" components, so the T4 includes blue titanium turnbuckles, aluminum servo mounts, wheel spacers, front hinge pin brace, body clips, and a lightweight milled blue aluminum motor mounting plate.

Overview

The T4 truck borrows the distinctive forward-swept front end and rear-mounted shock configuration featured on the RC10B4 buggy, optimized with the new co-planar steering geometry. This new suspension design provides maximum front-end clearance and minimizes bump-steer while maintaining desired Ackermann angles. Trailing front axle or optional inline steering blocks can be used to adjust steering response. The suspension arm design features a “captured” hinge pin design so that no E-clips are used. The T4 also features a heavy-duty design front hinge-pin brace and bumper for increased durability.

The transmission has also been optimized into an ultra-compact package, and now uses the same 2.6:1 higher torque-capacity differential as the RC10GT. A double-sided slipper assembly (first prototyped by Team Associated in 1989) has been designed with higher torque capacity, easier assembly, and lower rotating mass than comparable double-sided slippers. This provides a finer adjustment range and more efficient slipper operation.

The T4 chassis provides a super-low center of gravity by lowering the motor, battery, and shock mounting positions, enabling Associated’s R&D team to design a sleeker, more realistic low-profile body, greatly reducing the large, unaerodynamic "humps" over the rear shocks as seen on older-design trucks. The T4 also comes equipped with strong, dish-style wheels and high-traction Pro-Line tires.
