Overview

New from HPI Racing is the RTR Nitro RS4 3 Drift 1/10th scale nitro car in ready-to-run form, so you can be drifting with nitro horsepower in just minutes! Choose the Nissan Silvia S15 body or the muscular Toyota Soarer to suit your style, they’re both pre-painted, pre-trimmed, pre-applied decals, and both come with chrome Volk TE-37 wheels and drift tires for authentic JDM drift looks.

And these Nitro RS4 3 Drift machines don’t just look great, the chassis layout has been completely revised by the HPI Japan design team for optimal drifting. The engine and center gearbox have been moved forward to help the car rotate smoothly, and special shock springs are tuned for drifting. Type A drift radial tires are included, they use a hard compound rubber for controllable high speed nitro drifting.

Power comes from the potent G3.0 nitro engine (.18 Cu. In.), with excess power for tire smoking drift action. A large diameter tube header and a new rear exhaust muffler system routes the engine smoke out the back of the car for scale realism and clean operation. A single speed transmission delivers the consistent throttle response needed for drifting. And, the G3.0 is equipped with a pullstarter for quick and easy starting.

The RTR Nitro RS4 3 Drift has many of the features found on our popular RTR Nitro RS4 3 Evo+, making it a great car for parking lot drifters. The tough 4WD shaft drive system keeps the drivetrain running smoothly even in parking lots that aren't completely free of rocks. Overview

A new Two Stage air filter has also been added, similar to the proven design found on the Savage truck. It’s bigger than the old filter so you can run longer between routine maintenance intervals. The internal pre-oiled foam element is protected by an outer foam layer, providing optimal air filtration for longer engine life.

To help put this new found horsepower to the ground, hardened metal final drive gears from the Evo SS have been added, with a higher gear ratio for more top speed and extra toughness.

To top everything off, four new body styles for this exciting update of the Evo 3 line, the 1966 Ford Mustang GT (10052), 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda (10053), Acura NSX (10050), and the Greddy Nissan 350Z (10051). Of course the bodies are completely painted with pre-applied graphics and they're exact fully licensed replicas of the real cars.

The T3.0 is a high torque engine with features that include aggressive porting, durable ABC construction, a large heat sink head, dual needle 6.5mm carburetor and a lightweight aluminum connecting rod. The large .18 cubic inch size propels the Nitro RS4 3 Evo+ to a top speed in excess of 50 mph! And, the T3.0 engine is designed to be easy to start, easy to tune, and rock-steady reliable. It's equipped with the easy to use HPI Roto-Start system and, for racing applications, can be set up for bump starting.
